Hygge Power is excited to announce that the company has been selected to be a member of the First 50 group of companies selected by LG Electronics’ North American Innovation Center, LG NOVA, to join its Mission to the Future! Over 1,300 companies applied to participate, with the fifty selected working with LG team members to developing projects with LG NOVA and its partners.

Earth Day 1970

Eight years later, the first Earth Day events were held on April 22, 1970, 51 years ago. The US Senator who nurtured the movement into the first Earth Day was Senator Gaylord Nelson of Oregon. Many of the problems and issues he spoke about (in the first clip below) still exist today, emphasizing the need for more and better action.
